Small MattersHaving seen Pig Iron Class of 2017's capstone project, Visitation, Migration Theory's Artistic Director, Tracy Sunderland invited me to contribute to her company's latest project in Boise, Idaho.
I became part of a select group of devisors who helped Migration Theory's core members develop a site-responsive, ensemble-generated performance entitled, Small Matters. This ambitious project involved 40 performers and other artists and technicians who spent a month in development and a month in performance. During the show's sold-out run, audiences literally traveled from one location to another to experience several inter-related narratives. My contributions to the physical language were evident throughout the piece, and I'm proud of my work as a performer. Photos by Andy Lawless. |
